MQI (Derby) hosts Annual Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference
On the 24th December 2017 Minhaj-ul-Quran Derby organised Annual Melad in the Derby Jamia Mosque. A large number of brothers and sisters including children attended the programme.
The programme, which started after Asar with the recitation of Holy Quran, was followed by beautiful Naats from local naat khawans. In his English Speech, Hafiz Faizan e Muhammad emphasised the importance and benefits of following the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Shaykh Bilal Hussain (Birmingham) who is also a student of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri gave a comprehensive talk in English on Messenger of Mercy, the distinctive quality of our Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
The keynote speech was delivered by Allama Hafiz Abdul Saeed, the Khateeb and Imam of Jamia Mosque Accrington. In his beautiful Urdu speech, he highlighted the efforts of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has been making to the spread the message of love and peace of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). He quoted various verses from Quran and Hadees which describe the great status of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Also in the programme, special guests Naat khawans, Muhammad Irfan (London) and Ahmed Shah Noor (Luton) recited heart touching Naats. The programme finished before Isha Namaz. Milad feast was served at the end.
