Feeling pains of the needy is real charity: Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri

MQI leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said charity is not just to donate money for the needy; real charity is feeling their pains. Speaking in London at the ceremony of 30th foundation day of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, he said if a donor is devoid of humanly qualities like compassion and empathy, then his donations are not charity; helping the needy with compassion carries great reward. He expressed his satisfaction at the services rendered by Minhaj Welfare Foundation in the areas of collective marriages, provision of clean water, education and health facilities, and basic necessities in drought-stricken areas.

Dr Qadri congratulated the MWF volunteers for their selfless services and admired services of Aghosh Orphan Care Home. He said Aghosh was established in 2005 to look after children who were orphaned by the worst earthquake in the Pakistani history. He said with the help of donors, new Aghosh buildings are being constructed in Karachi, Sialkot and other cities.
