America: Annual Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference organized in Connecticut
Annual Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International on Saturday, November 09, 2019 in Minhaj-ul-Quran Al-Noor Islamic Center, Ellington, CT USA.
The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Muhammad Rafay Adan. After the recitation, beautiful Naats were presented by Muhammad Arshad Latif, Qari Fazal Rasol Chishti, Muhammad Saeed, and Muhammad Yonus Sial. There were also special Naats performed by Minhaj Academy CT student’s Alish Adan, Rijja Rohan, Hussain Raza, Muhammad Dawud Jafri, Rohi Jafri, and Adila Sharif.
The conference was presided over by respected Haji Ghulam Sarwar. The hosts of the ceremony ware Allama Muhammad Sharif Kamalvi (Director Minhaj-ul-Quran Al-Noor Islamic center CT).
Guest keynote speaker Allama Peer Syed Irfan Ali Bukhari gave a heart-melting speech in the honor of the beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). His topic was “Milad of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and its meanings”. He explained the greatness of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the light of the Quranic verses and Hadith. He said that today, the need is to follow the life of Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which cannot be attained without utmost respect for him (peace and blessings be upon him). His teachings and sayings should be followed without any sectarianism.
The management of the conference namely, Muhammad Arif Zeri, Hafiza Baji, Haji Ghulam Sarwar, Adan Ikhlaq, Muhammad Ashraf Bhura, and other volunteer men and women, worked tirelessly to make this ceremony successful. A large number of people attended the ceremony. The conference ended with a heart-touching Durood-o-Salaam and Dua by Allama Muhammad Sharif Kamalvi.
