Australia: Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addresses Zikr-e-Hussain (as) Conference
Minhaj-ul-Quran International Sydney organized a Zikar-e-Hussain (as) Conference at Blacktown Mosque. A substantial gathering of workers, members, and representatives of MQI, along with esteemed personalities from various segments of the Muslim community, participated in the event.
The keynote speaker, President Minhaj-ul-Quran International Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, addressed the audience: "An Exploration of Imam Hussain’s (AS) Life and Legacy."
The event also graced the presence of esteemed guests and dignitaries of MQI Australia.
Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri praised the revered character of Imam Hussain (AS), emphasizing his noble lineage as a pious descendant of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and a custodian of sacred knowledge. He shed light on Imam al-Hussain’s (AS) family ties, being the grandson of the Prophet (PBUH) through his daughter, Fatima tuz Zahra, the leader of women in Paradise.
Dr. Hussain highlighted the profound love the Prophet (PBUH) held for Imam Hussain (AS), regarding him as a beloved grandson and a source of immense pleasure. The Prophet (PBUH) cherished Imam Hussain (AS) deeply, and his emotions were deeply affected by Imam al-Hussain’s (AS) cries and their moments of separation.
According to the Prophetic teachings, love for Imam Hussain (AS) is regarded as a valuable asset for every believer, and the Prophet (PBUH) advised against harboring any hatred towards him.
The event received extensive global attention as it was streamed live on social media, attracting numerous young attendees across Sydney.
