Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri Meets Grand Imam of Al-Azhar to Discuss Muslim Unity

During several meetings with Grand Imam of al-Azhar al-Shareef, Dr. Ahmed Tayyep, at the Intra-Faith Dialogue Conference, Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, acknowledged and deeply respected the immense efforts and achievements of his Eminence, particularly in the Arab world and the broader Muslim community.

Dr. Hassan Qadri’s groundbreaking work on the Medina Constitution, with its many practical applications, was highly praised by Dr. Ahmed Tayyep. The Grand Imam applauded Dr. Qadri's scholarly contributions, emphasizing the importance of such work in the context of modern-day Muslim unity.

In a gesture of respect and goodwill, Dr. Hassan Qadri honored Shaykh Al-Azhar by presenting him with a special souvenir on behalf of both himself and his Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He also gifted copies of The Manifest Quran by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, al-Mawsua al-Qadiriyya fil-Ulum al-Hadithiyya, and Dustur al-Madina al-Munawwara to further emphasize the shared commitment to Islamic scholarship.

Finally, Dr. Hassan Qadri commended Shaykh Al-Azhar for organizing such a successful and impactful meeting aimed at promoting peace and unity among the Muslim Ummah.
