President Minhaj Peace and Integration Council Europe Visits Central Secretariat of MQI

Minhaj-ul-Quran International is engaged worldwide for peaceful coexistence and interfaith tolerance and harmony under the dynamic leadership of its Patron-in-Chief Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhamamd Tahir-ul-Qadri. In continuation of these efforts of promoting for making peaceful societies in the world, MQI has established Minhaj Peace and Integration Council to work for its objectives the world over.

President Minhaj Peace and Integration Council Europe Mr Ejaz Ahmed Warraich has have rendered his commendable services and accomplishments to spread the Islamic message of peace and harmony. In commemorating his tremendous services to promote peace and harmony, he has been elected Chairman of “Nordic Forum for Mediation and Conflict management” for 2009. Nordic Forum for Mediation and Conflict management is a meeting place for mediators and a forum for exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience among mediators in the Scandinavian countries.

Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Warraich and his delegation visited the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on 21st Oct, 09. Upon the arrival of the distinguished guests, the staff members of the Directorate of Foreign Affairs, led by Director Foreign Affairs Muhammad Mustafa (GM Malik), warmly welcomed them and briefed them about the progress and ongoing activities of MQI at the head office. Assistant Director Protocol Rana Nafees Hussain briefed the guests about different departments of central secretariat. Afterwards, the distinguished guests visited the departments and appreciated the efforts of all the individuals for the success of the mission. Finally the delegation called on Secretary General MQI Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Director Foreign Affairs Muhammad Mustafa (GM Malik) , Ameer-e-Punjab Ahmed Nawaz Anjum and Director Interfaith Mr. Sohail Raza to discuss and finalize important matters regarding establishing the office of Minhaj Peace and Integration Council at Kharian city. Besides central leadership of Central Secretariat, Mr. Sohail Warraich, host of a renowned talk show “Aik Din Geo kay Sath” was also present at the occasion.
