Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri Addresses Training Session in Haveli Lakha

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, addressed a training session in Haveli Lakha. He said that Allah Almighty has completed the human personality through the integration of soul, self, and body. A person’s character becomes complete when their nature aligns with the Shariah. He said that the Shariah refines the outer self, while a virtuous nature polishes the inner self. Together, these aspects ensure success in both worldly and spiritual domains. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri emphasized that becoming an adherent to Shariah is relatively easy, but shaping one’s nature according to the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a challenging and demanding task. He further stated that living a virtuous life requires sincere effort and Allah’s assistance. To align one’s nature with the Prophetic character, sacrifices of worldly desires, humility, and persistence are necessary.

He stated that combining Shariah with nature is the hallmark of the righteous. To improve one’s nature, one should seek the company of Allah’s friends (Awliya) and pious individuals, as their companionship brings peace to the heart and enlightenment to the soul. He said that such gatherings foster the development of knowledge, morals, and piety, helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of religion. Such associations benefit both one’s worldly and spiritual life.

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri highlighted the contributions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, who popularized knowledge in this era and established institutions like Minhaj University, where Sufism is incorporated into the curriculum with formal degrees awarded. He said that by integrating Islamic teachings with modern education, he has connected the youth to religion and set the Muslim community on the path to progress. This remarkable leadership has united religious and worldly sciences for the advancement of the Ummah.

The Chairman MQI Supreme Council expressed gratitude for the opportunity to benefit from such enlightening gatherings that enable individuals to understand and propagate the light of knowledge. These assemblies connect attendees with the Shariah and guide them to live their lives according to the Prophetic model.

At the end of the speech, Dr Hassan Qadri extended heartfelt congratulations to all attendees, praying for Allah’s acceptance of their love and protection at every step.
