MQI leaders host dinner in the honour of Dr Farid Piracha

Dr Farid Ahmad Piracha, the central leader of Jamat-e-Islami, held a meeting with Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Nazim-e-Ala and Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, naib Nazim-e-Ala at latter’s residence in Model Town. Amir-e-Punjab Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, G.M. Malik and Mian Zahid Islam were also present at the occasion. Leaders of both parties exchanged matters of mutual interest. They showed their agreement over the fact that there was a need to forge unity within all ranks and national tiers to take on the economic, political crises and threats posed to national security. They said the enemies of Pakistan were busy laying web to encircle Pakistan and the only way out of these mires was the formulation of consensus-based foreign policy by taking all religion-political parties on board. Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi presented ‘Irfan-ul-Quran’ and other books of Shaykh-ul-Islam as gift to Dr Farid Ahmad Piracha.
