Compartmentalization between religious & secular sciences a grave conspiracy: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, the President of MQI Federal Council, has said that creating a separation between religious and secular sciences is the successful conspiracy of the enemies. He said that since the time class-based educational system became dominant, the scholarly personalities such as Imam Abu Hanifa (R.A) and Jabir Bin Hayyan ceased to be born. He said that political use of terrorism has strengthened its roots in society and resultantly the Muslim world has been busy fighting among themselves instead of fighting poverty, ignorance and enemies of peace and humanity.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these views while addressing a seminar held under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation in connection with the Islamic Curriculum on Peace and Counter-Terrorism in Sialkot yesterday. People belonging to various walks of life including educationists, traders, industrialists, and opinion makers attended the seminar in addition to the workers of PAT and MQI. Major (r) Muhammad Saeed, Rafique Najam, Mazhar Mahmood Alvi also spoke on the occasion.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that religious and modern sciences have been compartmentalized like the two banks of the rivers, which has led to generation of terrorism and extremism. He said that one glaring aspect of anti-terror campaign is Operation Zarb-e-Azb launched by the Pakistan Army in 2014, which has achieved phenomenal successes, adding that the second inseparable aspect of the anti-terrorism effort is the Zarb-e-Ilam, which Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has initiated by launching Islamic Curriculum on Peace and Counter-Terrorism.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the armed forces are effectively dealing with all those elements that are infected with virus of terrorism but added in the same breath that the only way to stop the virus of extremism from spreading to succeeding generations is promotion of knowledge or Zarb-e-Ilm. He said that one attribute of Allah Almighty and His Prophet (SAW) is dynamism and Allah’s power is manifesting itself in the form of inventions, discoveries and innovations. He said that the whole universe and all that is inside it is subject to this attribute of dynamism, adding that the day the universe falls victim to stagnation, it will signal the arrival of the day of reckoning.
Dr Hussain said that as long as the Muslim world remained active in the field of knowledge, it held sway but once it allowed itself to be afflicted with intellectual stagnation, it has suffered an irreversible decline. He said that one reason of why terrorism has increased manifold is its use for political objectives. He said that thieves and robbers were used to win elections in the past followed by the hiring of services of the terrorist and extremist groups for this purpose. He said that this resulted in empowering and strengthening the terrorists. He said that the reality of political parties and their leaders who have used the services of terrorist groups is known to all and sundry.
The President of PAT Federal Council said that terrorism and extremism also registered an increase because of rendering a dominant majority of people out of political process. He said that no developed country or a democratic society can ever think of not allowing the masses to elect their local leaders but the people were kept out of political process for seven years in Pakistan. He said that those political parties are responsible for this state of affairs, which come into power by signing agreements with extremists.
