Don’t sever your relationship with the Holy Quran, Shaykh-ul-Islam advises students
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri congratulated the students who completed their degrees in religious and modern sciences from Al-Minhaj Institute London during a special intellectual session. He urged them to never sever their connection with knowledge and books throughout their life. He congratulated them for their interest in acquiring religious education along with contemporary education abroad and expressed his happiness that the sons and daughters of the nation are maintaining their connection with religion while living abroad. He extended his congratulations to these sons and daughters of the nation.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, the president of Women League International, Dr. Ghazala Qadri, young scholar Hammad Mustafa Al-Madani Al-Qadri, and Sheikh Ahmed Mustafa Al-Arabi Al-Qadri were also present.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed the degree-holding female students,
stating that Islam has encouraged the pursuit of knowledge from the cradle to
the grave. Knowledge, he said, is the only power through which the goals of
progress and success are achieved.
“The Holy Quran directs the Ummah towards the acquisition of knowledge. The biggest reason for the trials of the Muslim Ummah is the weakening of their relationship with the book. In the eyes of Allah and His Messenger (PBUH), all are equal, and no one has any superiority over others, but the Quran has distinguished between the learned and the ignorant. The learned have superiority over the ignorant,” he emphasized.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri advised the female students to always seek modern knowledge and prioritize their education over all other engagements. Leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran UK, including Allama Muhammad Zeeshan, Director of Al-Minhaj Institute London, Allama Sadiq Qureshi, Syed Ali Abbas Bukhari, Allama Abdul Rasool, and the executives and associate teachers of the institute, attended the ceremony.
