A Grand Exhibition of Books and DVDs & CDs by MWL

The Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League organized a grand exhibition of books and lecture DVDs and CDs by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the second of the series, in F-9 Park Islamabad on May 8, 2010. Nazima Women League Miss Sumaira Rafaqat Advocate was the chief organizer. A women league team led by the Nazima WL, including Miss Sajida Sadiq Naib Nazima WL, Miss Fareeha Khan Nazima Dawa planned out the exhibition in collaboration with their Islamabad chapter and arranged the exhibition in F-9 Park, which attracted droves of men and women from the elite class in Islamabad including Ministers, MPs and Senators, Ambassadors, Professors, Lecturers, Writers, Lawyers, Doctors, journalists and students of various universities. A large number of them visited the exhibition.

The MQI leaders from Central Secretariat of MQI Lahore including Senior Naib Nazim Tanzeemat Mohtaram Sajid Mahmood Bhatti and Director Minhaj Productions Mr Shafiq-ur-Tehman Sa’d also participated and extended their effective help and cooperation to their WL Sisters.

Nazima Women League, Miss Sumaira Rafaqat Advocate, who is fairly active in promoting the thought and ideology of Shaykh-ul-Islam through all the available and effective media has already organized a book exhibition of Shakh-ul-Islam’s Books on the eve of the latter’s 59th anniversary in Qasr-e-Zauk Lahore on February 16, 2010. She has also the plan to arrange a similar exhibition in the last week of May, 2010 in Lahore; the programme will be announced shortly.

This time she has done it with very active collaboration of WL Islamabad chapter. With the given meager resources, it is all their marvelous teamwork, dedication to the cause of the Prophetic Mission and love for Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri that make everything easy for them. Not caring for the dearth of material resources required, they just jump into the activity and swim across successfully with the grace of Almighty Allah, achieving the best results.

All the eminent visitors of the exhibition greatly appreciated the works of Shaykh-ul-Islam and regarded it unique, useful and innovative, relevant to our national as well as international life situation. ‘It is a great work done,’ they unanimously held. Most of them could not help expressing their pleasant surprise over the most modernizing and intellectual work of Shaykh-ul-Islam. They paid him tribute by purchasing the books DVDs and CDs in great number. The Bookstall set up on the occasion had a record sale.

The Minhaj Production Wing supervised by Mohtaram Shafiq-ur-Rehman Sa’d recorded the views of the worthy visitors and many of them registered their views and opinions in the views book kept in the exhibition for the purpose. All the honorable guests visiting the exhibition were also presented with the introductory literature of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League. The latest Fatwa Book of world fame on Terrorism along with other significant books by Shaykh-ul-Islam were also presented to the guests.

Miss Sumaira Rafaqat Advocate appreciated the Islamabad team of Women League for their initiative and active participation in arranging the activity and expressed her deep gratitude for the central leaders who remained present there on the occasion to look after the Women League engaged in the exhibition.
