Back to Allah, Back to Rasul Allah (SAW), Back to Quran: Iqbal and Shaykh-ul-Islam's strategy
Iqbal brought awakening to Umma and gave the Muslims the true Quranic vision to find their way out of the ordeal. This vision sprouts from our true relation of servitude to God, love and submissiveness to His beloved Messenger (SAW) and ardent contact with the divine guidance, the Quran. Iqbal said that the Muslims had to turn to GOD, the Prophet and the divine message to overcome their hardships and conquer freedom. That roused a wave of striving and struggle to put away the yoke of slavery and the Muslim Umma regained the Paradise lost. It is exactly one hundred year after Iqbal that Umma is once again afflicted with the crucible and this time it is the blessing of Allah in the form of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri who has given the slogan to the Muslims all over the world: Back to Allah, Back to Rasul Allah (SAW), Back to Quran to make our way through and reach the destination of peace, justice and human rights. Secretary General Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Sumaira Rafaqat Advocate expressed these views while addressing a seminar held on ‘Iqbal’s ideology and youth today’ by the MSM (sisters) local chapter Islamabad under the auspices of MWL Islamabad on 11 November, 2010.
