Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri condemns suicide attacks in Mohmand Agency

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has condemned suicide bombings in Mohmand Agency, which killed about 50 people and injured 100 including those critically injured. In a statement issued by the Directorate of Media and Public Relations of MQI, Shaykh-ul-Islam said that unending spate of terrorism indicated that the fight against the evil forces was far from over and there is a need of more vigour and concerted action to take the militants out from their safe havens. He regretted that the meaningless political controversies had embroiled the government in petty issues with the result that it was losing its focus on fight against terror. He asked all political parties to join their forces and come up with a consensus strategy against terrorism. “Political unity is what is required at this point in our national history. We seem to be falling short of doing the needful,” he regretted.

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in peace and give patience to the bereaved families to bear the loss of their near and dear ones.
