PAT's Conference on 'Role of Democracy, Politics and Media' on Sunday

A national conference on the subject of "Role of Democracy, Politics and Media" would be held on Sunday tomorrow. The moot would be addressed by Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, head of Awami Muslim League, Arif Nizami, senior journalist and intellectual, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, senior Deputy Secretary General, Anwar Akhtar Advocate, PAT's Secretary General, Aamir Waqas Chaudhry, president of Lahore Press Club, Khalid Farooqi, senior journalist, Aisaar Rana, senior journalist, Farid Ahmad Paracha, leader of Jamat-e-Islami, Ijaz Chaudhry, vice president of Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Sameeullah Khan, PPP Punjab Secretary General, Lerasayab Gondal, member of Punjab Bar Council, Zamurd Yasin, MPA of PML-N, Mahnaz Rafi, PML-Q, and leaders of ANP and MQM. The Conference, being held under the aegis of Directorate of Media, Pakistan Awami Tehreek, is to seek suggestions for promotion of democratic attitudes in the country.
