Norwegian Ambassador terms Minhaj Reconciliation Council as important initiative of MQI

On 3rd Feb, 2011 His Excellency Robert Koyle, Norwegian Ambassador to Pakistan, visited the offices of the Minhaj Reconciliation Council Kharian. He was accompanied by Director IMDI Norway Mr. Geir Barvik, Assistant Director Skjoldvor Fjvelvaer and Vivien Wrede Holm during his visit.

 The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Ejaz Ahmed, President European Council, Mr. Raja Jamil Ajmal, Director Foreign Affair, Mr. Sohail Ahmed Raza, Director Interfaith Relations, Mr. Qamar Mahmood, General Secretary Minhaj Reconciliation Council Kharian and Mrs. Shabana Malik, Lady Counselor MRC Kharian.

The members of the delegation visited the different sections of the office and expressed their satisfaction on the working of the office. Mr. Robert Koyle expressed his feeling in visitor’s book and termed MRC as important and significant project of Minhaj ul Quran International. He added that MRC has done better than expectations after Mian Qamar Mahmood presented the annual report. On this occasion, all members of executive council of MRC, Mr. Tariq Hussain, Haji Anwar Marala, Ashfaq Ch. Advocate, Ch Akram and Mrs. Shabana Malik were present in the conference hall. Mr. Raja Abdul Waheed, Prof Mazhar Hussain, Dr Ghulam Mustafa, Hafiz Asghar Shazi and Ch Gulraiz Waraich Advocate joined the guests in conference hall. The brief introduction of the Council and report on its progress was followed by lunch served to the worthy guests.
