MSM takes out motorcycle rally

Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) brought out a rally of motorcycles in connection with upcoming Student Awareness Congregation to be held on November 19 in Nasir Bagh. Attended by hundreds of motorcyclists, the rally started off from Punjab Assembly and concluded on Data Darbar. By the time it reached the shrine of Data sahib, it had grown into a large gathering of students and youth. The participants were holding placards, portraits of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and flags of Pakistan. The placards carried slogan against price hike, corruption and outdated educational system. The rally was led by MSM president Tajamul Hussain and MSM Secretary General Abdul Ghaffar. Irfan Asif Ali, Raza Chaudhry and other leaders were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the students, Tajamul Hussain said that skyrocketing inflation and price hike had made people’s lives miserable. He said that 97% of people had been disempowered and bearing the brunt of economic mess and deteriorating law and order situation. He said that people were not ready to give corrupt system any more time. He said that the Student Awareness Congregations on November 19 would prove to be a milestone in the country’s history where hundreds of thousands of students would make a pledge to bring about positive changes in the society through peaceful means. He asked the students to play the same role as they did during the freedom struggle.

Other student leaders also spoke on the occasion.
