PhD completed on Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

Muhammad Rafiq Habib Al-Azhari, a graduate of Minhaj University Lahore, and Vice Principal (Academic) College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences (Minhaj University) has recently received his PhD Degree from the Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education Dundee, University of Aberdeen, Scotland UK.

It may be mentioned that Dr Habib Al-Azhari conducted his research on the thought and ideology of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The title of his thesis was "A Critical Analysis of the Ideology of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri with Special Reference to Islamic Revivalism".In his thesis, he has examined, analyzed and compared the ideology of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri with the ideologies of Shaykh Hassan Al-Banna, Sayyid Abu Al-A'la Maududi and other contemporary scholars. Dr Rafiq Habib Al-Azhari is the first Minhajian (Graduate of Minhaj University) who has completed his Ph. D from a UK university.
