Mass movement to change nation’s destiny: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI’s Supreme Council, has said that the time has come to launch struggle to change the corrupt electoral system in the country. He said that the sight of Minar-e-Pakistan on December 23 would serve to bring people out of disappointment by instilling a ray hope in them. He said that patriotic sections of society would join Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri in his struggle to save the state from impending crises. He said that December 23 would become as eternal in the annals of history as March 23 as it would herald a new beginning for the worry-stricken people of Pakistan.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these views while addressing the central committee mandated to oversee preparations of December 23 gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Shikh Zahid Fayyaz, Allama Sadiq Qureshi, Allama Rafique Habib, Sohail Saddiqi, Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri was struggling for the restoration of the rights of the downtrodden and poor segments of society. He said that no change in the lives of the people would come about without change in the electoral system of the country, which was a major hurdle in the way of emergence of competent, able and honest leadership.
Dr Hassan said that response of the people in the public awareness campaign was overwhelming which indicate that the nation was ready for change. He said that the people were fed up with the system which gave them nothing but corruption. He said that mass movement starting from Lahore would change the destiny of the nation. He also directed the committee regarding preparations of the mega event.
