Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s visit to Houston, USA

On the invitation of MQI-USA President, Mr. Razi Niazi and MQI-Houston, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri attended several memorable evenings in Houston, USA. The main function was the wedding ceremony of the daughter of MQI-USA President, Mr. Razi Niazi on April 17th & 18th. MQI members from different countries attended this event by invitation as well. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri prayed Jumma’h at Jamia Ghous-e-Azam in Houston, USA and met with other local USA chapters to discuss their organizational matters and gave them guidance.

On Saturday, April 19th, a dinner was arranged by MQI-Houston chapter in honor of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. MQI-USA President, Mr. Razi Niazi and their families attended the dinner. After Tilawat and Naat recitation, MQI-Houston chapter President Zafar I. Khan thanked Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for sparing his valuable time and Mr. Razi Niazi for his active role in promoting MQI’s message of peace and harmony. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri spoke briefly about the purpose of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International and why is it beneficial to join and attain membership of the chapter. MQI-Houston chapter President Mr. Zafar I. Khan was also present on all these occasions. The following day, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri called a meeting and formed organizational structure of MQI-Houston, and assigned goals and duties to the new body.
