Revolution to make people real stakeholders in the system: Basharat Aziz Jaspal
Basharat Aziz Jaspal, President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (Punjab), has said that the budget formulated by the business barons and capitalists, did not offer anything to the masses. He said that the sun of rule of the corrupt mafia was about to set in forever. He said that authoritarianism existed at the place of democracy in the country. He said that this system was meant to protect the interests of the usurpers, looters of resources which was named as democracy. He said that PAT would put an end to exploitative, anti-people system and enforce real democracy in the country. He said that the people would soon find Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri among them who would lead the movement for revolution in the last and decisive phase.
Basharat Aziz Jaspal expressed these views while addressing quarterly meeting of the central council of PAT Punjab here at the party’s central secretariat. Mushtaq Nonari Advocate, Raja Zahid, Mushtaq Ahmad, Hanif Sandhela and others were also present at the occasion.
PAT Punjab President said that with the arrival of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri in Pakistan, revolutionary struggle would get a tremendous boost. He said that revolution had become the destiny of this nation, adding that joint declaration issued in London would prove to be a milestone in the struggle for changing the system. He said that the present rulers having authoritarian tendencies would never allow devolution of power. He said that the people would be made stakeholders in the decision-making after revolution.
