USA: Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference urges attendees to follow the Prophet (SAW)

Annual Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) Conference was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Educational and Cultural Center New Jersey on Jan 3, 2015 at Marriot hotel. The ceremony started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Qari M Yonus Qadri and Hafiz Qari Zaheer Ahmed. After recitation, beautiful naats were presented by M Asghar Chishti of New York, Mazhar Ali, Dr Ghulam Murtaza Naqibi, M Asghar Chaudhry, Manzoor Ilahi and Saleem Sheikh. The Conference was presided over by respected M Basheer Shaykh, M Amjad Shaykh, and Professor Ghulam Sarwar Rana. The host of the ceremony was Allama Muhammad Sharif Kamalvi (Director Minhaj ul Quran Center NJ).

The special guests, Allama Zaheer Ahmad Qadri from Denmark and Shaykh Allama Abdul Basit Qadri, gave heart-melting speeches in the honor of the beloved Prophet (SAW). They explained the greatness of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) in the light of the first five verses from Surah Adduhaa. They said this is a lesson taught by their teacher Shaykh ul Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri. They said that today there is a need to follow the life of Prophet (S.A.W), which cannot be attained without utmost respect and reverence for him. His teachings and sayings should be followed both in letter and spirit.

The management committee for the Conference consisting of M Amjad Sheikh, Ali Bhai, Khawaja M Ali, Rana M Muzammel and other volunteers worked tirelessly to make this ceremony successful. A large number of people attended the ceremony. Sheikh Motaz Charaf, a renowned scholar in New Jersey, also spoke his words of love and wisdom. The ceremony was also honored by the presence of Mu-e-Mubarak (Hair of the Prophet). The Conference ended with a heart touching Dua by Allama M Sharif Kamalvi.
