Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri falls seriously ill: Media Adviser to PAT chief
PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has fallen seriously ill. He is in the holy cities of Makkah and Madina for last two weeks. The doctors have advised him to get admitted to a hospital keeping in view the serious nature of ailment. However, Dr Qadri is undergoing treatment at his hotel in the Madina city.
Noorullah Saddiqi, adviser to the PAT chief, has confirmed the ailment and said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is not able to carry out his routine activities including meetings due to high blood pressure and weakness. He said that the doctors have advised him complete bed rest. He appealed to the nation to pray for his early and full recovery. According to the media adviser, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri had gone to the US for treatment of disease ‘Ejection Fraction’. He recovered a bit due to constant treatment and care but his detailed tests were pending. He had gone to the holy city of Madian as per his annual schedule and has been in Saudi Arabia for last two weeks.
