UK: MWL (North Zone) holds Milad organizational meetings
On the 16th of January, Minhaj Women League (Bradford) held their annual Mawlid 'Night of celebration to mark the birth of the Beloved Messenger Prophet Muhammad (SAW)' at Orissa Dining, 38-52 Manningham Lane, Bradford BD1 3EA.
The programme consisted of young children reciting heart-warming Naats and Nasheeds. This was followed by Sister Jabeen (PAT UK Convenor) giving a brief talk on Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s struggle in Pakistan. Then Ustaza Fatima Mash'hadi (MWL UK President) gave a short talk on the values of Minhaj ul Quran and the importance of the role of mothers for future generations. After the Mawlid programme, Sister Jabeen Naveed (Pakistan Awami Tehreek UK Convenor) and PAT Convenors held a meeting with Ustaza Fatima Mash'hadi (MWL President). A discussion was held on PAT UK activity planning. Then soon after, there was Advisory Committee Members meeting with Ustaza Fatima Mash'hadi. At the meeting the Tajweed and Fiqh course for Women was discussed and any issues or concerns were resolved.
On 17th January at 12.30pm, the Minhaj Women League Manchester Tanzeemat had their meeting with Ustaza Fatima Mash'hadi (MWL UK President) which took place at 122 Withington road Whalley Range Manchester M16 8FB. New Manchester chapter was established and relevant roles in MWL were discussed. Regular meetings of the team were advised to strengthen the team and a weekly Halaqa-e-Durood Mehfil was also held. On the 17th January, Minhaj Women League (Oldham) held their Mawlid programme at the Pakistani Community Centre Marble Street Oldham OL4 1EG. It was a very inspirational programme and Ustaza Fatima Mash'hadi’s talk was very motivational in Urdu on the Prophet’s (PBUH) life. On the 18th of January, Minhaj Women League Halifax chapters’ meeting was held with Ustaza Fatima Mash'hadi and UK Executives at the Minhaj Education Project in Halifax. Some of the points discussed at the meeting were good teamwork and respecting each other’s views.
Then on the 18th January, Minhaj ul Quran Women League North Zone held a very successful Programme 'Celebrating the Mercy of Allah' at 1pm, at Arooj Banqueting 286 Attercliffe Road, Sheffield, S4 7WZ. After the programme, a meeting was held with MWL Sheffield chapter and executives. Local tanzeem work was discussed and any issues were resolved. On the 17th January, Accrington Minhaj ul Quran Women League held their Mawlid Programme at 1pm at Portland Street Community Centre Portland Street Accrington Lancashire BB5 1RH. In this inspirational programme Sister Summaiyah Murtaza (Minhaj ul Quran Women League UK Information Secretary) delivered a talk in Urdu and Sister Khadijah Atkinson (Minhaj ul Quran Women League UK) delivered a talk in English which were much appreciated attendees. Overall all the North Zone Events were very well attended by the ladies in the local communities and all Minhaj ul Quran Women League's teams worked very hard to make the events a great success.
