Hypocitical behaviour and sectarianism have shattered the unity of Muslim Umma, Sahibzada Hussain Mohi ud Din Qadri
Addressing the fifth annual Qiraat and Naat gathering under the aegis of Bazm-e-Qadriyya of Minhaj University, Sahibzada Hussain Mohi ud Din Qadri said: "Today the Muslim Umma, because of is distance from the Holy Prophet and the Qur'an, is suffering from humiliation and misery. Their hypocitical behaviour and sectarianism have torn the unity of Muslim nation into pieces. The Muslims can transform their downfall into glory, if they reconnect to the Holy Messenger and the Divine Book. The assemblies of Qur'anic recitation and Naat serve this purpose in the best manner." And he congratulated the Bazm-e-Qadriyya on organizing such a grand gathering. Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rahman Durrani, central Ameer Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Qur'an, stressed the fact that the recitation of the Holy Qur'an dispels the darkness of hearts. Showering the praise on the Blessed Prophet is a source of strengthening ones connection with his holy person. The wealth of love for Allah and His Messenger can be acquired only and only through establishing an inner relation with Allah's Book and His Apostle. Nazm-e-Aala Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Qur'an, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, addressed the congregation: "We have been enjoined to recite the Qur'an in a rich melodious voice. The assemblies of Qur'anic recitation urge one to recite the Glorious Qur'an well, and the Naat sittings help one establish and further contact with the Prophet." The ornament of the Muslims is intense love for Allah and His Holy Messenger, he added. Famous Quran-readers and Naat-readers who participated in the sitting included Qaari Karaamat Ali Naeemi, al-Hajj Akhtar Husain Quraishi, Shahzaad Haneef Madani and Minhaj Naat Council.
