PPP acknowledges Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s for his pro-peace & anti-terror efforts: Mian Manzoor Wattoo

PAT Secretary Information Noorullah Saddiqui called on former Punjab Chief Minister and President of Pakistan People’s Party Punjab, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, at his residence and gifted him the books authored by Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri as part of Islamic curriculum on peace and counter-terrorism.

Speaking on the occasion, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo said that the use of pen along with the use of the hard power is of equal importance in eliminating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. He said that we support every voice being raised against terrorism and for promotion of peace in the country. He said that every worker of PPP has a clear and unambiguous stance on terrorism. He said that terrorism and extremism is not merely the issue of any single individual, or a party, adding rather it is the issue of the whole nation and the Muslim world.

Paying glowing tributes to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on his contributions to promotion of peace and elimination of terrorism and extremism, the PPP Punjab President said that research work being carried out by the PAT chief deserves our utmost appreciation and applause. He said that Dr Qadri guided the nation by issuing historic 600-page Fatwa against terrorism and suicide bombing in the past and now he has taken yet another step forward by designing the peace curriculum, whose need was being felt.
