PAT delegation inquires after MQM leader Rashid Godil on Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s direction

On the direction of PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, a delegation of PAT Sindh consisting of SM Zameer, Liaqat Kazmi and Ilyas Mughal visited the hospital and inquired after the health of senior MQM leader Rashid Godil who is under treatment after being shot at in Karachi. The delegation conveyed the best wishes and prayers of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to Rashid Godil for speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has strongly condemned the assassination attempt on the life of MQM MNA Rashid Godil. He said that the incident of attack is highly condemnable. He said that it is the government’s responsibility to protect life, honour and property of the citizens, adding that the increasing number of incidents of violence show that both the federal and provincial governments have failed in performance of this foremost and fundamental task. He demanded that those involved in the attack on Rashid Godil should be apprehended and meted out exemplary punishment.

Senior PAT leaders including Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Major (r) Muhammad Saeed, Aamir Farid Koreja, Bashrat Jaspal, Brig. (r) Mushtaq Ahmad, Fayyaz Warriach and M Noorullah have also condemned the assassination attempt on Rashid Godil and expressed their grief on the killing of his martyrdom.
