MQI UK grieves the passing away of Haji Sufi Muhammad Aslam

MQI UK and MQI worldwide grieves the loss of Haji Sufi Muhammad Aslam from London UK, who passed away earlier today. On hearing this sad news the founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President Supreme Council, expressed their deep grief and sorrow and extended their condolences to Sufi Muhammad Aslam's family. They prayed to Allah (SWT) to grant Sufi Muhammad Aslam’s soul an esteemed rank in Paradise and grant his family patience to bare this loss.

Haji Sufi Muhammad Aslam was a passionate and extremely committed life-member of MQI, and a founding member of Minhaj-ul-Quran in the UK. He remained involved in the organisational work of MQI since 1988 when Minhaj-ul-Quran International held an historic Wembley Conference. Sufi Sahib was a very good friend of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, a great associate and a true devotee and follower of Huzoor Pir Qibla Qudwatul Awliya Sayyedena Tahir Alauddin (RA).

Sufi Muhammad Aslam was a senior figure in MQI and also a member of the Board of Trustees, always willing to support the organisation in every way possible. He had been ill for a while and today he left for his final abode in the hereafter but his work as a founding member of MQI UK and his commitment to Minhaj-ul-Quran International and the person of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will never be forgotten.
