Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to address monthly religious gathering today (6 March, 2008)

A meeting was held in the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International in connection with reviewing the arrangements for the monthly spiritual gathering. Talking after the meeting, the head of the Committee Sufi Muhammad Saleem Qadri said the love of the holy Prophet (saw) is an asset for the believers. Every Muslim should subordinate his interests and likes to the love of the Holy Prophet (saw). He said sending greetings and salutations upon the Holy Prophet (saw) is such an act as is also highly acceptable by Allah Almighty and is His Sunna too. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is the ambassador of the love of the Holy Prophet (saw) and his organization is engaged in the task of spreading this love in the entire world. The establishment of Gosha-e-Durood and other such places throughout the world are the means to spread this love. Regarding the arrangements about the spiritual meeting, Salim Qadri said that all preparations have been made and Shaykh-ul-Islam would address the gathering at 9 p.m. on telephone. A large numbers of the lovers of the Holy Prophet (saw) will participate in the programme.
