Love of Imam Hussain (RA) leads to his obedience: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

‘Zikr e Imam e Hussain Conference’ was held under the banner of MQI (Victoria, Australia). Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI Federal Council, was the keynote speaker on the occasion. A large number of people attended the Conference. The proceedings of the event got under way with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat and ‘manqabat’ in the honour of Hazrat Imam-e-Hussain (RA).

In his address, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri paid glowing tributes to Hazrat Imam-e-Hussain (RA). He threw light on the life and contributions of the revered Imam. He said that since the Holy Prophet (SAW) mentioned the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (RA) a number of times, therefore, ‘Zikr-e-Hussain is the Hadith and Sunna of the Holy Prophet (SAW) as well.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri further said that remembering these revered personalities and talking about their perseverance, sacrifices, patience and teachings is instrumental in strengthening one’s faith. He said that these things foster love for the holy personages. He said that a journey that starts with love ends with compliance with their teachings. He said that real way of paying tributes to Hazrat Imam-e-Hussain (RA) is to act upon his teachings in our lives, the teachings he lived and got martyred for.
