Lahore: ‘Azmat-e-Mustafa (PBUH) Conference’
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that to forgive, endure and love is the blessed Sunna of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said that the only way to save the new generation from being led astray is to act upon the teachings of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said that love of the holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the first precondition to understand the religion. He said that there is a dire need of the hour that one understands the purpose of the raising of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), acts upon his teachings and stays steadfast in the process.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these views while addressing ‘Azmat-e-Mustafa Conference’ organized by MQI Lahore yesterday. Khawaja Amir Fareed Koreja, Imdadullah Qadri, Brig. (r ) Mushtaq, Fayyaz Warraich, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, and Shahzad Qadri were present on the occasion.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Muslim world remains victim to factions and biases. He said that effort is being made to pollute the beliefs on the basis of biases and sectarianism. He said that religious scholars have huge responsibility on their shoulders to guide the people in such circumstances. He said that the intellectuals and scholars will have to instill a spirit of forbearance, tolerance, moderation and respect for diversity in the people so that the weakening religious values could be restored.
The Chairman of Supreme Council said that we can get blessings for every department of life by strengthening our bond with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and acting upon his teachings, adding that this is the only way to make this world hub of peace. He said that the standard of morality and character set by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the one which can lay the foundation of a peaceful and harmonious society. He said that we need to love the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with our heart because it is in this way we can have thorough understanding of the faith and develop character. Making sustained efforts for revival of religion is the way of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said that anti-Islam forces want to weaken their relationship with their Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), adding that love of the holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Allah Almighty and the friends of Allah.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the followers of Islam believe in peace, tranquility and harmony and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the prophet of peace for the whole world. He said that if the Muslims want to regain their lost glory, they will have to strengthen their bond with the person of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). We will have to send greetings and salutations on him and act upon the teachings espoused by him. He said that MQI is striving to strengthen the Muslims’ relationship with the Holy Prophet so that they can have their happiness back in their lives.
