Teachings of Sufis are for whole humanity: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Addressing the Qudwa-tul-Aulia to mark the 25th death anniversary of Syedna Tahir Allauddin Qadri al-Gillani Al-Baghdadi at the central secretariat, PAT senior leader Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Sufis purified the hearts of millions of people and enlightened their souls. He said that as long as the people remained associated with the Sufis and would take religious, spiritual and scholarly guidance from them, this region remained a hub of peace, love and harmony till then and people even did not know the names of terrorism and extremism.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din said that the places of Sufis were without any sectarian or religious bias and these friends of Allah only loved human beings without any discrimination and it was because of their love of humanity and egalitarianism of their teachings that the hundreds of thousands of people entered the fold of Islam at their hands. He also highlighted life and teachings of Syedna Tahir Allauddin Qadri al-Gillani Al-Baghdadi.

A large number of devotees including Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, GM Malik, Shahzad Rasool Qadri, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Syed Musharraf Hussian Shah, Syed Farhat Hussain Shah, Aftab Sheikh, Haji Ishaq, Jawad Hamid, Sajid Bhatti, Allama Ghulam Rabbi Tamoor, and Raja Nadeem were also present on the occasion.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Muslim world craves for peace and wants to get rid of terrorism and extremism, adding that they should then study the lives and teachings of the Sufis and implement those in their lives at individual and collective life. He said that a personality like Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is the true heir to intellectual, scholarly and revolutionary thought of Syedna Tahir Allauddin Qadri. He said that it was with the blessings of Hazoor Pir Sahib that MQI was founded and all successes achieved by MQI and its worldwide reach in the world owe itself to these spiritual blessings.

The PAT leader said that the Sufis make individuals the ambassadors of peace and love for society, adding their teachings are for whole of humanity. He said that Fatwa against terrorism authored by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri represents the teachings of the Sufis—the teachings of love, peace and harmony and hatred for violence. He said that the Fatwa is playing a major role in eliminating terrorism and extremism from society at the intellectual plane. He said that remembrance of Allah Almighty revives one’s faith and persuades one to do good things.
