USA: Annual Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference held in Connecticut

Annual Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International on Saturday November 24, 2018 in Minhaj-ul-Quran Al-Noor Islamic Center, Ellington, CT USA.

The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Adila Sharif, Fatimah Majid and Miraj Majid. After recitation, beautiful Naats were presented by Qari Fazal Rasool Qadri, Allama Awais Munsif Qadri and Tariq Mahmood Alvi. There were also special Naats performed by Minhaj Academy CT students Awais Raza, Hussain Raza, Muhammad Daud Jafri, Rijja Rohaan, Zameer Khaliq, Alisha Adan and Muhammad adan Ikhlaq.

The conference was presided over by respected Allama Shahbaz Ahmad Qadri and Mufti Sagheer Ahmads. The host of the ceremony wass Allama Muhammad Sharif Kamalvi (Director Minhaj-ul-Quran Al-Noor Islamic center CT).

Guest key note Speaker Allama Ghulam Rasool Qadri gave a heart melting speech in the honor of the beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). His topic was “Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) as Allah’ Mercy”. He explained the greatness of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the light of the Quranic verses and Hadith. He said that today, the need is to follow the life of Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which cannot be attained without utmost respect for him (peace and blessings be upon him). His teachings and sayings should be followed without any sectarianism.

The management of the conference namely, Waqar Ahmad Butt, Muhammad Arif Zeri, Brother Yahya, Haji Ghulam Sarwar, Muhammad Ashraf Bhora, Waqar Khan and other volunteer men and women, worked tirelessly to make this ceremony successful. A large number of people attended the ceremony. The conference ended with a heart touching Durood-o-Salaam by qari Fazal Rasool Qadri and Dua by Allama Ghulam Rasool Qadri.
