A two-day seminar held on knowledge and companionship

Minhaj-ul-Quran Northampton arranged a two-day youth seminar. In this seminar, the special guest speakers who were invited were Shaykh Muhammad Qasim Al-Azhari from Holland and Shaykh Bilal Hussain from the UK. The seminar consisted of lectures, Q&A session, and discussions on many key topics. The participants were from many nationalities such as Pakistani, Bengali and Africans.

First day:

First session:

The proceedings of the program got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat. After this Shaykh Bilal gave a talk on the aims and objectives of holding this event, while also introducing Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

The first lecture was delivered by Shaykh Muhammad Qasim Al-Azhari on the subject of the importance and necessity of studying Islam and seeking knowledge in this modern age. The lecture included a presentation through a projector and Q&A from students.

Second session:

The second lecture was delivered by Shaykh Bilal Hussain on thankfulness and gratitude for Allah's blessings and how to implement that in our lives. It also included a presentation and Q&A from students.

Second day:

First session:

The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat Shareef. The first Lecture was by Shaykh Muhammad Qasim Al-Azhari. The topic of this lecture was the love of Prophet Muhammad (saw) for today's follower. The lecture was followed by a question-answer as well.

Second Session:

The last session featured a lecture by Shaykh Bilal Hussain. The topic was the importance of companionship, fellowship and good company for protecting our faith. Shaykh Bilal addressed many questions relating to good company and how to find it.

At the closing of the program, all students were presented with certificates of participation and this successful program closed with Dua.

The students showed great interest in the event by contributing to discussions and Q&A sessions. They also shared their suggestions for future seminars and highlighted the need to arrange such events on more regular bases.
