Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra’ (S.A.) is role model for all women of the world: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
MQI founding leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, while delivering a special talk on the death anniversary of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra’ (S.A.), said that Sayyida-e-Kainat was the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said, the Holy Prophet stated: "Fatima is a part of me, and he who makes her angry, makes me angry." He said that together with her husband Hazrat Ali (A.S), Sayyida Fatima (S.A.) braved hardships and difficulties happily. She brought up Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S), Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S) and Sayyida Zaynab (S.A.) in such an excellent manner that these revered personalities taught humanity how to live with dignity and respect.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) described Hazrat Fatima (S.A.) as the leader of the ladies of paradise, He said she is the holy personage whom Islam termed as an example of piety & chastity to throw light on the greatness of women. She is the source of respect and special status that women enjoy in society. He said if today's women want to have a respectable place in society, they should make Sayyida Fatima (S.A.) their role model, stating that every woman of the society should get the alms of chastity, character, and piety from Hazrat Fatima (S.A.).
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said the personality of Hazrat Fatima al-Zahra’ (S.A.) was a blend of excellence of character and appearance. He said the mention of the personages associated with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the source of spiritual blessings. He said the personality of Sayyida-e-Kainat is a beacon of light for the women of today, stating that the respect and greatness of women lie in following her path. He stressed the fact that Muslim women will have to mould their character in line with the personal traits and attributes of Sayyida Fatima (S.A.). He said the society needs those women today who act upon the teachings and character of Sayyida-e-Kainat, adding that only such women can educate the next generations in a befitting manner.
