There can be no dialogue without tolerance: Chairman Supreme Council
Pakistan German Awareness Initiative in collaboration with Minhaj-ul-Quran International Germany organised a get-together cum dinner for the Pakistani community of NRW to initiate religious awareness for our coming generation.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman Supreme Council, MQI, was the guest of honour on the occasion. He is a lawyer and the first scholar in the world who has done his research on Constitution of Medina (Misaq e Madina) in comparison with the world constitutions.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stated in his speech that we learn, talk and exchange our religious beliefs and understandings about Islam and how can we integrate in German society. He said we have to give respect to everyone and in this way, we can have respect and become a society wherein everyone is free to practise his/her religion.
Chairman Supreme Council said that tolerance is essential to initiate the interfaith dialogue. He said that bridges can be built only when we are ready to listen to diverse voices, adding that we may not agree to everything. He said that MQI has been trying hard to promote dialogue among various faiths, cultures and civilizations in Pakistan and across the world.
We are thankful to all the friends from NRW who graced the event with their presence and took part in the thoughtful discussion, which was a source of great learning for the participants.
