Minhaj Education France celebrates special Mawlid an Nabawi (PBUH)

This event was specially designed for children (aged 4-16) by Ms.Rehana Altaf, head of Minhaj Education France, and her entire team. For the first time in France, more than a hundred kids joined this blessed festival with their parents.

The organizers had the honour of having Hassan Mir Qadri (Director MQI), Raja Baber Hussain (Pres. MQI FR ) Tahir Goraya (GS MQI), Hena Qazi (President MWL), Sabah Khadim ( GS MWL), Jamila Sarfaraz (executive MWL) with us during the gathering.

Shabaz Sami and Muhammad Ali Jarral were the guests of honor at this beautiful event.

Through this celebration we wanted to educate children and show them how they can celebrate Mawlid un Nabawi (saw) on their own, and give ideas to parents on how they can instill the Love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in their peers.

The event was hosted by Ms. Rehana, and a few students of Minhaj Education France who come every week-ends to take courses in Quran, Islamiat, and Urdu.

It started with the Holy recitation of Surah Al-Tin [95] by our student Zahir Ansari. Our little students did a beautiful entrance on “Tala’al badru aleyna” walking with Madina’s flags and plates decorated with flowers and candles. After that, they show their love by reciting Durood o Salam.

A quiz session held by our students Irum Asghar & Abdullah Asghar about the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Those who answered right to the questions received gifts from anty Jamila.

The festival carried on with a calligraphy competition. It was about writing "Ism e Muhammad (PBUH)" as beautiful as possible on canvas.

Ibrahim Gondal Ali Gondal and Zishan Liaqat were the 3 contestants in this competition. All of them got gifts from Allama Hassan Mir Qadri. There was also a play from our students Noor Khadim, Imane Ikram, and Maryam Liaqat.

Their performance was not only giving tips on how to celebrate this blessed month of Rabi ul Awwal (by decorating the house, and giving gifts to each other) but also explaining how to increase our love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by reciting Durood o Salam, following his sunnah, etc).

The final message throughout the play was on the importance of joining Minhaj ul Quran by living in France in order to protect our Imaan and increase our own and our children's love for the Master of all Prophets (PBUH).

Maryam Qazi (student) gave a little speech on Sirat-e-Muhammad (PBUH). The audience had the opportunity to listen and enjoy nasheeds recited by Shabaz Sami and Muhammad Ali Jarral. The Mawlid festival ended with salutations and greetings upon the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

At the end of this beautiful festival, Minhaj Education served cupcakes and lunchboxes to the audience. All the children got gift bags which included toys and candies. The program was held in Urdu. Overall, it was a very successful festival; the children were very happy to take part in it. The parents were also very happy to see what Minhaj ul Quran is doing for their children’s faith. Minhaj Education received many messages of congratulations from parents for this successful event, and they asked for more events like this.
