10-member delegation of MWF France visits central secretariat
A ten-member delegation of MWF France led by Raja Tariq Hussain visited the MQI central secretariat in Model Town. Shakeel Ahmad Tahir, Hafiz Khurram Shahzad, and Moazzam Mustafvi of the Directorate of Foreign Affairs received the guests on their arrival.
The delegation held a meeting with MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur in which the members briefed him about the performance of MWF France.
The MQI Secretary General appreciated the amazing work done by the France chapter of MWF and advised them to accelerate community service in addition to their work in education and welfare.
The delegates also visited different departments and directorates of MQI including Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam, Farid-i-Millat Research Institute, Gosha-e-Durood, Minhaj University Lahore, Orphan Care Home Complex, Tahfeez-ul-Quran College. They were briefed about the overall working of the various institutions. They also paid their respects at the shrine of Qudva-tul-Auliya Pir Syedna Tahir Alauddin al-Qadri al-Gilani al-Baghdadi and placed a floral wreath on the grave. Raja Zahid Mahmood was also present on the occasion.
The delegation consisted of ten members including Dr Sajid Mahmood, and Mahr Suleman Azam. During their visit to the Directorate of Foreign Affairs, Shakeel Ahmad Tahir briefed them about the working Minhaj Islamic Centers in over 100 countries of the world. He also threw light on the role these centers are playing in community cohesion and promoting the Islamic message of peace, love and interfaith harmony.
Sanaullah Khan apprised the delegates about the performance of MWF Pakistan, especially in the context of relief and rehabilitation of the flood affectees. The members of the delegation expressed their happiness and said that MWF is a leading welfare organization working for humanitarian causes across the world under the leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
