The Encyclopedia of Hadith Studies launched in Peshawar

Faith is all about complying with the commands of Allah Almighty and His Prophet (PBUH). Reviving the Sunna of the beloved Prophet (PUBH) and playing a role to spread the prophetic traditions in this blessed month is a favorite act of promoting the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The Encyclopedia of Hadith Studies compiled by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is a great service in the realm of Hadith sciences.

Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri made these remarks while addressing a joint ceremony of Mawlid-un-Nabi (PBUH) and the launch of “Encyclopedia of Hadith Studies” in Peshawar. He said we pray to Allah Almighty with all humility to accept these acts. He said that the study of the Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences would open up a world of enlightenment and understanding for the seekers of knowledge. He said Allah Almighty be thanked a million times that the Encyclopedia has won great acclaim from the religious scholars, experts of the domain and the readers alike.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Encyclopedia of Hadith Studies compiled by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is the summary of the books on Hadith written by religious scholars, jurists and Hadith narrators over the course of the last 800 years. Allah enjoins upon the believers in the Holy Quran that they should obey Him and His Prophet (PBUH), adding that the obedience of the beloved Prophet (PBUH) is to act upon and spread his teachings. “The correct and comprehensive understanding of Islam is not possible without getting the knowledge of Hadith,” he said.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadir further said that some mischievous elements are trying to pollute the minds of the young generation by creating doubts and confusion about the credibility of Hadith sciences. He said that by compiling the Encyclopedia of Hadith Studies, Shaykh-ul-Islam has shut a door on such mischief-mongering.

Among others, the ceremony was attended by Dr Siddique Ali Chishti, Maqsood Ahmad Salfi, Saeed Hussain-ul-Qadri, poet Ms. Bushra Farrukh, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf, Dr Pir Allama Asif Akbar, Pir Syed Mujahid Hussain Shah Kazmi, Mufti Usman Bacha, Maulana Shoaib Khan, Mufti Askar Khan Saeed, Sahibzada Muneeb Ahmad, Mrs. Robina Moeen, Hamid Ishtiaq Ahmad Siyab Junaidi, and Qari Syed Roohullah Shah.
