The Prophetic (PBUH) tradition is role as a Teacher to Humanity: Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri
Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri Chairman Supreme Council Minhaj-ul-Quran International addressed to the prestigious seminar organized by Gulf Pakistan English School Kuwait.
During his address at the seminar over the subject of "The Doctrine of Teaching," he emphasized that teaching is a noble profession, rooted in the prophetic tradition. It was the esteemed duty of the Prophets to enhance humanity through education and training. One of the many virtues of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was his role as a teacher to humanity.
He pointed out that the Prophets of God enlightened people with monotheism, guided them in distinguishing between right and wrong, and educated them about their rights and responsibilities. Throughout history, we can see the impact of these teachings in different parts of the world. Thus, it is evident that the position and responsibilities of a teacher are elevated, much like those of the prophets. To be a teacher, one must possess knowledge and, more importantly, moral excellence. Teachers play a pivotal role in nation-building, and the progress of any country or society is indebted to the education and training provided by teachers.
Dr. Hasan Mohiuddin Qadri also emphasized that teachers are the foremost preachers of their time. They stay updated on modern sciences, arts, and educational trends, continuously enriching their knowledge and adapting to the evolving needs of education. Teachers shape the consciousness and thinking of each generation they instruct.
Upon arriving at the school, Dr. Hasan Qadri was given a warm and cordial welcome by the school's Principal, Madam Azra Khalid. During the session, The Principal expressed her gratitude to Dr. Hasan Qadri for gracing them with his presence at the seminar and delivering an insightful address and present him Commemorative shield.
The seminar was conducted by Farwa Munir, wherein a wide number of teaching faculty, staff and students with Pin drop salience was enlightening themselves by the words of Dr. Hasan Qadri.
The distinguished gusts participated in this seminar therein e. g. Abdul Rasheed, Munir Ahmed Gujjar, Dr. Bagh Hussain, Abdul Rauf Bhatti, Mian Asif, Shahid Tufail Dar and Shahid Minhas.
