Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences launched in Islamabad

Scholars pay rich tribute to Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at launch of Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences

An unveiling ceremony of Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences was held in Islamabad. Chairman of MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended the launching ceremony and delivered his speech. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri also gave a talk on the occasion.

The launching ceremony was held in Pak-China Center in Islamabad, which was attended by religious scholars, researchers, intellectuals and students. They paid rich tribute to Shaykh-ul-Islam on his yet another scholarly feat.

Those who attended the ceremony among others included Sahibzada Dr .Sajid-ur-Rehman, Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi, Ziaullah Shah Bokhari, Allama Arif-ul-Wahidi, Allama Pir Azmat Hussain Shah, Dr. Tanvir Alvi, Sanaullah Zahri, Muhammad Shamsul Arifeen Sddiqui, and Dr. Syed Anwar Shah, Mashaykh.

Expressing his views, Pir Shamsul Arifeen Siddiqui said that in this day and age when the Islamic teachings are being attacked through social media and other sources of communication, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has given a great scholarly gift to Muslims in the form of Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences. He said that it is a great blessing of Allah that He sends a person in every century who protects the teachings of the faith and guides the nation. He termed Dr. Qadri as a great asset of Pakistan and Islam and urged the people to support him for his great cause of representing Islam at all forums.

In his remarks on the occasion, Prof. Sanaullah Zehri congratulated Shaykh-ul-Islam on compiling the Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences. Dr. Tanvir Alvi also appreciated Dr Qadri for his singular scholarly contribution and stated that the compilation of Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences is no doubt the sum total of deep learning and study of Dr. Qadri. He expressed his prayers and best wishes for him.

Allama Pir Azmat Hussain Shah said in his speech that Allah Almighty has given a treasure of blessings to Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that the compilation of Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences is one of the greatest scholarly contributions that would have a lasting impact. He said that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and his team deserve utmost respect and appreciation for rising to the occasion and doing a great service to the faith.

Allama Arif-ul-Wahidi congratulated Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the launch of Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences and said that knowledge is not gained by memorizing it but by the grace and blessings of God. He said whosoever advances the work of religious knowledge and Hadith, he is sure to be successful along the path. He said that personalities like Dr. Qadri are the pride of Pakistan.

Syed Ziaullah Shah Bokhari said in his remarks that he was privileged to be present in the launching ceremony of Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences. He said that all of us should be thankful to Allah Almighty, for He enabled Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri to pull off the compilation of a 60-volume Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences. He said this feat could not have been possible without the special blessings of Allah.

Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi said that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has performed great feats including the service of bringing people together and fostering convergences. He said that his scholarly contribution in the form of Encyclopedia of Hadith Sciences would guide the seekers of knowledge till the decades to come. He prayed to Allah Almighty to enable the people to benefit from this great treasure of knowledge.

Sahibzada Dr. Sajid-ur-Rehman said that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is not just the name of the personality but a thought, a vision, a philosophy and a movement working to benefit humanity.
