‘Diploma in Quran Study Course’ launched under MQI
MQI’s Directorate of Educational and Professional Development has initiated the "Diploma in Quran Studies" course. Over 550 men and women are participating in the 10-day diploma course designed to teach the correct pronunciation and recitation of the Holy Quran. This diploma course covers complete knowledge of Tajweed, Arabic grammar, translation of the Quran, Tafseer (exegesis) of the Quran, oratory skills, and personality development.
The central coordinator, Allama Mahmood Masood, and senior deputy director,
Allama Muhammad Sarfraz Qadri, are responsible for teaching the course.
On the second day of the ongoing 10-day course in Abbottabad, Allama Mahmood
Masood said that the struggle and mission of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad
Tahir-ul-Qadri are to awaken the understanding of the Quran and the obedience to
the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) among people. Strengthening the connection
with the Quran and teaching it promises freedom from worldly and economic
worries and the glad tidings of intercession on the Day of Judgment.
He said Minhaj-ul-Quran is tirelessly working day and night to promote the understanding of the Quran. The goal is to soon conduct these courses on a large scale and initiate a Quranic culture across the country so that the broken connection of our younger generation with the Quran can be restored.
Allama Muhammad Sarfraz Qadri said that to understand the Holy Quran, it is essential to be aware of its context and background, which is one of the necessary requirements for comprehending the Quran. He mentioned that the path guided by the Holy Quran is the strongest, the best, and the straightest path. The "Diploma in Quran Studies" course, organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran in Abbottabad, is ongoing at the Jalal Baba Auditorium.
