Preparations underway for International Mawlid Conference

Deputy Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran and Secretary of the International Mawlid Conference 2024, Jawad Hamid, has said that that for 41 years, the grand International Mawlid Conference has been held at Minar-e-Pakistan. He said Minhaj-ul-Quran International has started preparations for the 41st International Mawlid Conference, adding that scholars from Egypt, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain will participate in the mega event.

Jawad Hamid said that in celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), there will be a 12-day Mawlid feast. Every year, on the blessed occasion of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the annual International Mawlid Conference is held on the night between the 11th and 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal at the famed Minar-e-Pakistan grounds. This year as well, InshaAllah, a grand International Mawlid Conference will be held on the occasion of the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Jawad Hamid said that the 41st International Mawlid Conference will be hosted by Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore. He expressed these views while speaking to the heads of the administrative committees formed for the International Mawlid Conference.

He stated that preparations for the 41st International Mawlid Conference have begun. Torch-bearing processions will be organized across Lahore and the entire country to welcome the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. He further mentioned that the history of Minhaj-ul-Quran bears witness to the fact that we have always protected the greenery of Minar-e-Pakistan and taken special care of cleanliness. Despite the gathering of millions, the natural beauty of the Minar-e-Pakistan grounds was never harmed. Even the management of Minar-e-Pakistan can testify to this. He added that this year as well, the 41st International Mawlid Conference will be held with all safety protocols in place.

Jawad Hamid urged the workers to begin preparations for the International Mawlid Conference and to invite every individual in Lahore to attend the conference. He mentioned that daily reports on the preparations and arrangements for the International Mawlid Conference will be submitted to the MQI Secretary-General, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur.

Rana Waheed Shehzad, Sheikh Farhan Aziz, Shehzad Rasool, Saeed Ahmed, Abid Bashir, Mian Zahid Javed, and others were present at the meeting.
