The noble life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the best source of guidance: Allama Rana Idrees

Addressing a Friday congregation at Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam, Model Town, Deputy Nazim-e-Aala of MQI, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, emphasized that according to Islamic teachings, love and loyalty to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) are fundamental beliefs and obligations for every Muslim. Among the rights of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) upon his followers is their duty to assist and fully support him and to defend his honor and sanctity at all times. He said that protecting the dignity of the Prophet (PBUH) is an eternal obligation for all believers. Obedience to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is obedience to Allah, and disobedience to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is disobedience to Allah.

Allama Rana Idrees stated that loyalty and support for the last Messenger of Allah (PBUH) mean that Muslims should shape their lives according to his Sunnah and implement his teachings in their daily lives. He further highlighted that the noble life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) serves as the best source of guidance, and following it ensures success in both this world and the Hereafter.

Allama Idrees urged religious scholars to emphasize in their sermons the importance of loyalty to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the need to act upon its requirements. Supporting the Prophet (PBUH) necessitates demonstrating through our character, actions, and morals that Islam is a religion of peace, love, and brotherhood. He stressed that the love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) should not be confined to verbal claims but must be reflected through practical steps, such as serving the religion and promoting Islamic values.

The MQI senior scholar further stated that the greatest demand of supporting the Prophet (PBUH) is that Muslims promote honesty, justice, and brotherhood in their daily lives—principles that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) consistently upheld throughout his life. He underlined the need to introduce children and the younger generation to the Seerah of the Prophet (PBUH) so they can understand and practice the true message of Islam in the future.

In conclusion, Allama Idrees said that every Muslim must strengthen their faith and character to fulfill the obligations of loyalty and support to the Prophet (PBUH), thereby presenting the enlightened face of Islam to the world.
