Governor Punjab visits Farid-e-Millat Research Institute (FMRi)

Governor Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, made a special visit to the Farid-e-Millat Research Institute (FMRi), an esteemed research facility established by Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

Dr. Muhammad Farooq Rana, the Director of the Institute, introduced the Governor to over 700 books authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and provided a detailed briefing about the research cell, which includes a reference library containing over 39,000 books.

During the visit, Governor Saleem Haider Khan remarked that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is undoubtedly a scholar with profound knowledge. He noted that Dr. Qadri speaks with precision and addresses even controversial matters in a way that avoids offending opponents.

The Punjab Governor expressed his pleasure at Dr. Qadri’s significant role as a strong and unifying voice for ending sectarianism and promoting unity within the Muslim Ummah.

He praised the sincerity and efforts of Dr. Qadri, stating, "It is due to his genuine intentions and hard work that Minhaj-ul-Quran International is now present in almost every country in the world. I, myself, often listen to his lectures."

Accompanying the Governor during the visit were Khurram Nawaz Gandapur (Secretary General), Brig. (R) Umar Hayat, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Noorullah Siddiqui (Deputy Secretary General Media Affairs), Shehzad Rasool, Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry, and other notable individuals.
