Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addresses graduation ceremony and Urs of Mufti Pir Muhammad Abdul Aziz Noori
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, delivered a special address at the 9th 'Urs' of Pir Mufti Abdul Aziz Noori (RA) and the graduation ceremony at Dar-ul-Uloom Jamia Ghousia Haveli Lakha. Thousands of scholars, students, and members of the public attended the prestigious event.
The theme of his address was "The Pious Servants of Allah are Those Who Fear Him." Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri highlighted the virtues of knowledge, God-consciousness (Taqwa), and moral excellence. He emphasized that the true servants of Allah, adorned with humility and Taqwa, are the ones deserving of closeness to Him. A true scholar (Alim-e-Rabbani), he stated, dedicates their life to seeking Allah's pleasure and serving humanity. Real scholars are those who practice what they preach and use their knowledge for the betterment of people.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council further explained that scholars possessing divine qualities have hearts filled with Allah's love and reverence. They express gratitude to Allah in all circumstances, whether in ease or difficulty. Such scholars illuminate others with their knowledge and dedicate their lives to the service of humanity.
Dr. Qadri lauded the efforts of Dar-ul-Uloom Jamia Ghousia, describing it as a blessing that not only imparts education but also focuses on piety and moral training. He emphasized the importance of institutions like these for the intellectual and spiritual leadership of the Ummah.
Addressing the scholars and students, he advised that the character of a scholar is more significant than their knowledge. Excellence in morality is the key to nearness to Allah, and scholars who embody purity of heart and divine reverence serve as guiding lights for generations to come, he explained.
During the event, the Chairman of the Supreme Council, along with the Nazim-e-Aala of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan and the Principal of Jamia, awarded certificates to the graduating students.
