Monthly Durood and supplication ceremony for Esal-e-Sawab of respected aunt of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

The monthly Durood and supplication ceremony for Esal-e-Sawab of respected aunt of Shaykh-ul-Islam was held at Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam. The ceremony was attended by respected Rifat Jabeen Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Sufi Maqsood Ahmed Qadri, Shafqatullah Qadri, Sabghatullah Qadri, Qudratullah Qadri, Azmatullah Qadri, Dr. Ghazala Hassan Qadri, Ms. Fizza Hussain Qadri, Durra-tul-Zahra, and Sakeena Hussain Qadri.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said, "Life is the name of preparing for an eternal world while living in a finite one. Death is not the end of life; rather, it is a journey to an everlasting realm. Those who maintain a connection with the infinite while residing in this finite world will find their knowledge and wisdom transcending beyond limits, granted by Allah."

He further elaborated, "The journey of a human begins in the spiritual realm (Alam-e-Arwah). Strengthen your soul constantly, as the body is temporary and will become dust, while the soul belongs to the eternal world. The soul’s nourishment lies in prayer, selfless service to humanity, and living every breath in obedience to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. The soul is also nourished through the company of pious individuals who maintain their connection to the infinite while dwelling in this finite world."

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri emphasized that certain deeds continue to reward a person even after death, such as raising righteous offspring, spreading knowledge, providing clean water, constructing rest areas for travelers, and building houses of Allah. He encouraged everyone to perform acts in their lifetime that will serve as a source of salvation.

During the Majlis Khatm-ul-Salawat, the total number of Durood Sharif recited to date and presented in the esteemed court of the Holy Prophet ﷺ was recorded at 8 trillion, 656 billion, 797 million, 736 thousand.
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including G.M. Malik, Mufti Abdul Qayyum Khan Hazarvi, Noorullah Siddiqui, Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri, Dr. Muhammad Farooq Rana, Wing Commander Abdul Ghaffar, Muhammad Jawad Hamid, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Dr. Mir Asif Akbar, Ghulam Murtaza Alvi, Vice President Minhaj Welfare Foundation Norway Haji Mushtaq Ahmed, Mian Ghulam Murtaza Murtazai, Shehzad Rasool Qadri, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, Muhammad Ajmal, Saad-ur-Rehman Alvi, and others.

Additionally, Akhtar Hussain Qureshi, Muhammad Afzal Noshahi (Hassan-e-Minhaj), Amjad Bilali Brothers, Sufi Maqsood Ahmed Chishti, and Arshad Naqshbandi offered heartfelt tributes in honor of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Qari Noor Ahmed recited verses from the Holy Quran, while Ikram Rabbani and Ali Raza led the recitation of the Gosha-e-Durood prayers.
