Lisbon: Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri Arrives in Portugal on an Organizational Visit

Lisbon, Portugal – Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI), arrived in Lisbon, Portugal, for a five-day organizational visit. Accompanying him were Minhaj European Council President Bilal Ashraf Uppal, Faiz Alam Qadri, and Muhammad Zubair Qadri.

Upon his arrival at Lisbon Airport, Dr. Hassan was given a warm reception by a large gathering of MQI Portugal officials, members, and Minhaj Youth League volunteers, led by MQI Portugal President Muhammad Kashif Nazir. The enthusiastic crowd presented floral bouquets to welcome the distinguished guest.

This visit marks Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri’s first official tour of Portugal, a significant milestone for MQI Portugal. The organization, established in 2024, has made remarkable progress in a short time.

The primary objective of Dr. Hassan’s visit is to engage in intellectual and training sessions while consulting on organizational matters. This evening, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, he will deliver a keynote address at the grand Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference. His speech will focus on global peace, social harmony, and the responsibilities of parents in light of the blessed life of the Prophet ﷺ. The event is expected to draw a significant audience from across Portugal, including MQI members and the local community.
