Lisbon: Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri Delivers Keynote Lecture at Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ & World Peace Conference
Lisbon, Portugal – Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI), delivered a keynote lecture at the Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ & World Peace Conference, held at a community center in Lisbon.
In his address, Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri emphasized that Islam is a universal religion founded on peace, love, mercy, and human welfare. He highlighted that these core principles make Islam a guiding light of compassion and harmony for all of humanity.
Speaking on the unparalleled mercy of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, he stated:
“The Prophet ﷺ was sent by Almighty Allah as a mercy to all worlds and all creation. He deeply cared for the struggles and hardships of humanity, striving for the well-being of both believers and non-believers alike. His mercy is boundless, particularly for those who embrace faith.”
Dr. Hassan Qadri further noted that studying the life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ provides countless examples of his immense mercy, reinforcing the necessity of following his example in fostering peace and coexistence in today’s world.
He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to MQI Portugal for successfully organizing the conference, marking a significant milestone in its mission to spread the message of peace and unity.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including President of Minhaj European Council Bilal Uppal, Faiz Alam Qadri, President of MQI Portugal Kashif Nazir, and several distinguished members of the local community.
