Dr. Hassan Qadri explained that education is not merely the acquisition of knowledge but a means of character building, a concept deeply rooted in the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He elaborated that the Prophet ﷺ instilled values of compassion, honesty, and righteousness in his companions, making them exemplary figures for generations to come. He further stressed that the true purpose of education is to refine one's heart and actions, aligning them with divine guidance.
Referring to various Quranic verses and Hadiths, Dr. Hassan Qadri underlined the importance of Tarbiah in shaping a society where justice, ethics, and spirituality flourish. He stated that the absence of a strong moral foundation in education leads to the deterioration of values and the rise of materialistic pursuits.
He encouraged parents to instill the love of the Prophet ﷺ in their children and connect them with platforms like Minhaj-ul-Quran, which strive to spread the true teachings of Islam. He emphasized that an educated society, guided by prophetic values, can become a beacon of peace and progress.
