Joint session of Federal Council of PAT and Shura of MQI begins

Presided over by PAT president Faiz-ur-Rahman Durrani, the joint session of the Federal Council of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Majlis-e-Shura of Minhaj-ul-Quran International began on Saturday at the central secretariat in Model Town. Central leaders, Nazim-e-Ala Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Anwar Akhtar Advocate, Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, G.M. Malik, Sardar Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Mian Zahid Islam, Dr Shahid Mahmood, Sajid Bhatti and Bilal Mustafvi are also participating in this extraordinary session. The office bearers of PAT and MQI from across Pakistan are in attendance. The meeting specifically is focused on the discussion of the ongoing Israeli state terrorism in Palestine, the Indian threats and other issues of grave nature. Important policy decisions are expected to be taken after incorporating input and opinions of the participants. PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will give his final approval on Sunday. He would also deliver special address to the joint session telephonically from Canada.
